Annual Gifts

Individual support is one of the most important ways Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation is able to ensure care services and programs are available to our community. While Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance provide some reimbursement, there is always a gap between funds received and funds needed.

Make a gift that heals the hearts of your neighbors facing serious illness, grieving a loss, or unable to afford high-quality end-of-life care.

You make all this possible with your gift:

  • Hospice Care
  • Palliative Care
  • Grief Support for Adults, Families, and Children
  • Community Education
  • Veterans Programs
  • Capital Needs

    Why Support Us?

Your gift changes lives by supporting our end-of-life programs and services, provides healthcare, comfort and support by our professional care team, and enables access to model programs like palliative care, grief support, Sunrise Kids for grieving children, community education and so much more. Your support may be in the form of memorials, donations, estate gifts, or sponsoring events like the Last Chance for White Pants Gala.

You can also support us by inviting us to speak to your church or civic group or by volunteering in a hospice care center, a patient’s home, or in our administrative offices.

  • Memorials are an important source of donations for Lower Cape Fear Hospice. They are important to our families as well. Every memorial donation given in memory of an individual goes toward their tribute.

Together we can make a meaningful difference.

  • When you make a donation online and learn about the ways your gift impacts those who need us most, you have the opportunity to join our monthly giving club, called Promise Partners. It’s a simple, convenient, hassle-free way to give and 100% tax deductible.

Donors commit to a monthly gift – like $10, $25, or $50 – rather than making a gift in lump sum. It’s a gift that keeps giving, and it’s easy to budget. You give once, and we draft your card monthly for the specified amount. It’s safe and secure.

It’s not just a gift. It’s an opportunity to positively impact the lives of others.

Here’s the impact your monthly donation would have:

    • $10 a month = One day of hospice care for a patient
    • $25 a month = Provides three hours of counseling to a child, a teen or adult
    • $50 a month = Provides nearly a month’s supply of refreshments for families staying with a loved one at a hospice care center
    • $100 a month = One week of hospice care for a patient

  • Our Society Circles recognize and celebrate the vital importance of personal giving at transformative levels. Members of our Society Circles are people of vision. Their community involvement creates solutions that shape tomorrow.

Our Society Circles are comprised of local leaders and community philanthropists whose gifts of $5,000 or more help build a strong financial base that changes lives by supporting our end-of-life programs and services, provides healthcare and support by our professional staff, and enables access to model programs like palliative care, bereavement support, Sunrise Kids for grieving children, community education and so much more.
