“The holidays can be a difficult time for those who have lost a loved one,” said Melissa Rogers, Lower Cape Fear Hospice bereavement counselor. “Hope for the Holidays is a workshop designed to help those grieving deal with the additional stress and anxiety grief brings at this time of year. We will discuss ways to cope during the holidays and suggestions for creating new traditions.”
Navigating Grief workshops will be offered the second Tuesday of each month through December at our Bladen County office. Each will focus on a specific aspect of grief and the grieving process.
Most of us have loved and lost special people in our lives and we understand that coping with grief is a challenging process. If you and/or your friends and family are having difficulty dealing with the loss of a loved one, we are here to help.
Throughout the year, we offer compassionate care, educational and enrichment opportunities that support many types of loss in safe and familiar environments. Because of our generous donors, these caring, no cost groups, camps and workshops are available to all. Your donation is always appreciated.
If you are interested in attending this grief program, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page and a member of our bereavement team will contact you to ensure this program meets your specific needs.
