A Positive Approach to Care: Enhancing Understanding and Building Skills in the Care for those Living with Dementia

What’s normal aging and what’s not? In this free educational and interactive workshop, Kelly Cahill, Community Nurse Educator with LCFH, and Lisa Levine, Director of Education at Dementia Alliance of North Carolina, will present A Positive Approach to Care, a workshop for caregivers of someone living with dementia that focuses on enhancing understanding and building skills.
The educational and interactive workshop will review normal aging in place, the symptoms of dementia, the Positive Approach to Dementia Care, and improving quality of life through the power of music.
